I am posting from the bar again...waiting for friends to arrive. When I got here this evening I was sent across the street to the crepe shop to pick up food. It was really amazing, they were easily the best crepes I've ever had. And for once lproven wouldn't be disgusted by something I ate. I ordered the flourentine, spinach, mushrooms,guyere, and sunflower seeds. I fear however that their proximity to The Depot will enable the bleeding of my wallet on them weekly.

Yesterday was made of win! Early in the morning we went down to the marina in Fells Point and went out trying to sail the bay. I say trying because although it was a gorgeous morning for November, there was positively exactly 0 wind. We really ended up motoring the whole bit, but did enjoy the 3 hours out on the water anyway. I called my father at work to tell him to walk down to the water and look for a sailboat off the south side of Fort McHenry andhe responded with, "don't tell me that's you out there!" in a very excited voice. Then he laughed and told me he knew there was no movement on the water yesterday early. After we came back in of course the breeze picked up around 12:30. We headed over to the Cross St. Market for lunch at Nick's. The special of the day was a creole oyster po'boy, so we went with that and a pound of crawfish. When the po'boy came it had decided familiar looking sauce on it. We were absolutely amazed at what turned out to be the closest thing to Wow sauce since leaving NOLA. Now it is possible to procure an All That Jazz without going half way across the country! We brought a bowl of it home, Christine will be overjoyed! Even having to go to work wasn't so bad yesterday, why can't I have more days like that? I hope today is even a quarter as awesome.

I've had an awesome week despite some major setbacks. Horrorfind was fun although we were without a space in the dealers room and thus not bringing in much money. We did have some work and have residual work this weekend from the con. After the weekend I used up my vacation time to be off until tomorrow. I used the time to sort out some things around the house, list some things on eBay, and do our autumn cleaning. So tonight I am relaxing because it's back to work tomorrow. A blanket, the couch, and Roger Corman Presents.

Sailing was awesome! We had a great time, and I am very much looking forward to tomorrow! But it's also very tiring, we got home, showered the salt off, ordered Chinese delivery, and have since been vegetating on the couch with movies and our study books.

I have been bad about updating lately. VNV and Depeche Mode were both great shows, and I made it out to ES last night! I've been busy! Mostly with work though, and that sucks. I hope to clear out the remaining beige soon. And Loki is working out well. So all in all not too bad, extra cash from my OT next week should be nice. I wasn't happy working it and our pay cycle makes you wait for it, and I can only hope that it isn't eaten up in taxes... I do have next weekend off though and am hoping to be able to take that sailing course.

With very little notice, on Sunday I transfer from Towson to Annapolis. Hopefully it works out for the better, it certainly does NOT make my crew happy. I also got the job with The Examiner. I will be writing for their Arts and Entertainment section, covering rock music of all types. ^_^ I also applied for another job with Fire & Ice. It would be nice to be surrounded by interesting objects and art all day.

I bought REPO! The Genetic Opera this afternoon because the songs were stuck in my head from seeing it on Sunday night. I'm addicted, If you haven't seen it yet, you should. It's a great dose of strange. The Charity Event this evening went better than imagined. I was sure that I would fall, and even my mother wished me luck on not breaking anything... I had a great time, and surprisingly, I never even fell once. I hadn't been on roller skates since the 80's I believe, and it was like being 7 again in the roller rink and all 80's pop all night. I think we will be doing this again soon, after the new blisters and sores heal. ^_^

Tuesdays are always the longest night at work for me. I have no idea why, it's not a 12 hour day like Thursdays, it just seems that I feel every minute of Tuesday... The drive home started to make up for it though, hearing some really great music out of nowhere. I swear by "random playlist." Upon arriving home, Arkhady was already here, had a pot of soup cooking for dinner, and was saying from the living room, "you might be interested in this." Across The Universe was on. -It's a music film, of course I'm interested. I've sat through boring, trite, and just plain awful for topics in music I'm less interested in. "Rock," however, gets my undivided attention.- It was fantastic, and I would love to catch it from the beginning. I had meant to see it ages ago, but was so disappointed in the staging of Cirque du Soleil: LOVE that I procrastinated. I shouldn't have.

Last weekend we hit Mum's on Saturday night for Circle 9, and had a good time. I have decided to go to the Team Fierce Chicks Rock charity event on May 12th. maggot93 is very convincing. ^_- I finalized it last night at ES. It does sound like fun, and I loved skating when I was a kid, maybe she'll be correct in thinking it's like riding a bike, and you never really forget. I finally got my money back from Suntrust, but they send the check they had mentioned weeks ago to my father... In the most amazing nonsense I have ever heard, they said that since he has an account with them, it had to be sent to him. YEAH! I couldn't make that up if I tried. >_< So Daddy received said check and gave it to me, but wow, what would have happened if I didn't have a family member with an account????? I plan on promptly (probably tomorrow morning) going down to my bank and having the loan refinanced there, because this is just unreal. 3 payments in less than 2 months and about a month to get my refund not even returned to me, it's just lunacy. I am thankful that I got the money back though. Yesterday was Privateer day. It was a very nice day for it, and I went with Dan and Kaori. We walked around Fells a bit, got food, and checked out the band that was playing. They were pretty good actually, and we had a good time. We got on the Pride Of Baltimore II, which was the first time I'd ever been on it, and watched the naval battle for a bit, but didn't stay for the pub crawl. I managed to NOT get a sunburn! ^_^
